Now Live: Public Map Access

We’re excited to introduce Public Map Access, a new way to make your EH data more accessible, searchable, and easy to share with the public.

What This Means

You can now provide users with a streamlined, read-only map experience designed specifically for viewing and searching records—no login required.

Built-In Search & Filtering

The Public Viewer automatically displays a Search Options panel, giving users the ability to filter data right away.

  • Example: Food EH maps can be filtered by inspection date
  • Users are encouraged to search for specific records
  • Not sure what to search for? No problem—the full map remains interactive and usable

Data Visibility & Control

  • Only fields included in the selected form will display values
  • All other fields are hidden and protected from view
  • Layers can be shown or hidden based on configuration

Full Administrative Control

Health Departments maintain complete control over:

  • Which data layers are visible
  • Inclusion of reference layers (such as imagery)
  • Overall map configuration

Note: Basemaps are always available to ensure usability.

Simple by Design

The Public Viewer is a lighter version of the map, focused on:

  • Viewing EH data
  • Searching records

No clutter — just what public users need.

This ensures a clean, intuitive experience for public users without unnecessary complexity.

Start using Public Map Access today to share your EH data more efficiently and transparently.
